We’re looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to play a key role in fostering employee engagement, supporting day-to-day HR operations, and helping our team thrive in a positive, growth-minded environment.Summary: The Human Resources Generalist plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department and serves as a point of contact for employees across the organization. This position is responsible for handling a broad range of HR responsibilities, including onboarding and employee relations. This position will also serve as backup to the Payroll and Benefits Specialist, Recruiter, and offsite Human Resources Generalist. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional HR service in a confidential and professional manner.Essential Duties:- Serve as an approachable resource to all employees—promoting an open-door policy via in-person, phone, and email communication.
- Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement and strengthen company culture.
- Conduct comprehensive new hire orientations and ensure all new hire documentation is completed and compliant.
- Lead employee relations efforts by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and providing guidance to employees and supervisors in a fair and consistent manner. Ensure that all employee interactions align with company policies, values, and applicable employment laws.
- Oversee the annual performance review process by preparing review materials, communicating timelines, and assisting managers with documentation. Ensure performance evaluations are completed on time and align with company goals and development objectives. Assist in identifying development opportunities and support the creation of employee development plans to promote growth and retention.
- Manage all types of employee leave, including FMLA, medical, personal, military, and other applicable leaves, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company policies. Serve as the primary contact for employees and managers throughout the leave process. Collaborate with leadership to coordinate reasonable accommodations under the ADA and maintain thorough documentation in accordance with legal and policy requirements.
- Assist with offboarding tasks, including ensuring completion of termination paperwork and administering COBRA notices.
- Maintain up-to-date and organized employee personnel files, ensuring data confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate on compensation, benefits, and retention strategies tailored to a competitive manufacturing environment.
- Provide backup support to the Payroll and Benefits Specialist, Recruiter, and offsite HR Generalist, as needed.
- Attend approved professional development seminars to stay current with HR practices and compliance requirements.

- Microsoft Office proficiency required. Especially in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Have prompt and reliable attendance.
Education and Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred. 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a generalist or business partner capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties as listed above. HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.Equipment Used:- Microsoft Office Suite
