Production Associate - Lites

Day Shift: 7:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday
Starting Wage: $22/HR

Occasional overtime and weekend shifts

We are looking for Production Associates to join our team.

Summary:       
The primary function of this position is to cut and install the necessary components for window assembly.

Essential Duties:
  1. Read order and understand all the necessary required steps to ensure proper quality assurance guidelines are followed. (E.g., Correct template, marked the correct panels)
  2. Perform safe operating procedures when in operation of the router during the cutting process.
  3. Safely lift sections on/off the cutting conveyor and installation conveyor.
  4. Precisely line up template on the punch to ensure the cut is correct.
  5. Safely remove the cut out from the section and place in the cut-out bin.
  6. Read, in order, the steps required to properly install the frames, inserts, backs, and screws.
  7. Operate a battery powered drill for several hours and be able to figure out the torque needed to seal the frames to the section and glass.
  8. Know all the corresponding parts/pieces that are required for different styles and sizes of required lite.
Marginal Duties:
  1. Assist in Production and Shipping areas as requested.
  2. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both orally and written, to ensure a clear understanding of work instructions and safety protocols.
  • Have prompt and reliable attendance.
